Current openings:

Kathrin Winkler Therapy is hiring Part-time AMFTs as W-2 employees. The ideal candidate has at least 700 hours accrued towards their licensure and an active registration number with the BBS plus interest in trauma work. This is not a remote position. Associates will be expected to provide in person and telehealth sessions. Therefore, they have to be able to report to our office in Costa Mesa, CA.

Requirements

• active registration number with the BBS and in good standing

• minimum of 700 hours accrued under current registration

• currently on first Associate registration

Expectations

• Proficiencies in the following clinical abilities:

  • Diagnosing

  • Formulating treatment plans

  • Detailed session notes

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Understanding and implementation of professional and personal boundaries

  • Knowledge of psychotherapy models and interventions

• strong verbal and written communication skills

• self starter and excellent time management skills

• excellent references and client retention rates

• maintain current BBS registration

• adhere to ethical standards required by our field

Bonus

• EMDR trained

• Bilingual a plus

• Interest in working with complex clients
